How to understand the website or service status results
Online
User reports show no current issues. The website, apps, or other services should be accessible and working normally
Partial outage
User reports indicate there may be intermittent issues. It could affect the website, apps, or other services.
Down
The service is experiencing issues. A significant number of users report issues with the website, apps, or other services.
This does not confirm an official outage, and we cannot guarantee accuracy. Service availability may vary.
Website status is based solely on the number of user reports submitted, and is updated every 30 minutes using data from the past 24 hours. The status you see depends on the baseline — the average number of reports received for that time period over the past 24 hours. Learn more about how our tool works.
Why is a website or service down?
From technical glitches to external attacks — websites go down for a number of reasons.
Server issues. One of the most common causes of service downtime is server overload or a technical failure. If a server hosting the website faces more traffic than usual, it can lead to outages when systems are overwhelmed or malfunction.
Maintenance or updates. Even regular maintenance or scheduled updates can cause temporary downtime. Updates are essential for improving security and adding new features, but they can also introduce bugs, causing temporary service disruptions.
Your own network issues. DNS server malfunctions, routing problems, or your internet service provider’s issues can prevent access, even if the service’s servers are working fine.
Cybersecurity incidents. Cyberattacks like DDoS can temporarily disrupt services by overwhelming them with traffic, but are usually short-lived.

How does the status checker work?
We recalculate the status of the service every 30 minutes based on user reports submitted within the last 24 hours. This allows us to provide firsthand information on outages and helps to better understand the extent of the problem.
To do this, we first calculate a baseline — the average number of reports received in 30-minute time blocks over the past 24 hours. This helps us understand what “normal” activity looks like at any given time.
Once we have the baseline, we set thresholds to determine the status of the service:
Online: If the number of reports falls below 50% of the baseline, the service’s status is shown as “Online,” meaning everything is functioning normally.
Partial outage: If the reports fall between 50% and 75% of the baseline, the service might be facing some issues. We label this status as “Partial outage.”
Down: If the number of reports exceeds 75% of the baseline, the service is considered “Down,” indicating significant issues or an outage.
