Domininkas Virbickas

Alles begann mit einem gehackten Uber-Konto – eine unangenehme Überraschung, die ihm aber eine Lektion war und ihn dazu brachte, sich für mehr Sicherheit im Internet einzusetzen. Domininkas ist fest davon überzeugt, dass Online-Betrug die größte Gefahr für die meisten Internetnutzer ist. Er sagt zwar, dass die Zeiten von Betrügereien mit „dem nigerianischen Prinzen“ vorbei sind, aber er ist auch der Meinung, dass die neuen Scams noch viel raffinierter und gefährlicher sind als früher. Dank seiner technischen Erfahrung und seiner Führungsrolle im Produktmanagement bringt Domininkas das Beste aus beiden Welten zusammen und sorgt dafür, dass die Nutzer effiziente, sichere und benutzerfreundliche Produkte bekommen.

Domininkas Virbickas is a cybersecurity expert and the product director at NordVPN, where he oversees the development of security features that keep millions of users safer from phishing, scams, and harmful websites.


Domininkas began his career with a strong technical focus. With an academic background in telecommunication engineering and experience in engineering leadership and product development, he approaches security through practical problem-solving. He focuses on how attacks happen and how technology can be built to protect people without getting in their way.


Since stepping into senior product and engineering leadership roles, he has helped shape NordVPN’s Threat Protection product and contributed to the company’s broader security direction.
