Domininkas Virbickas
Domininkas är ingenjör i grunden och hans passion för produktutveckling har lett honom till positioner som VP of Engineering, CTO och slutligen produktchef på NordVPN. Hans intresse för cybersäkerhet började med ett hackat Uber-konto – en ovälkommen överraskning som visade sig vara både en läxa och ett första steg på vägen mot att bidra till ett säkrare internet. Domininkas är övertygad om att bedrägerier på nätet är det största hotet för vanliga internetanvändare. Även om han tror att tiderna med nigerianska prinsbedrägerier ligger bakom oss, så instämmer den här experten med att deras efterträdare är betydligt mer sofistikerade och farligare än någonsin. Kombinationen av hans ingenjörsbakgrund och ledarskap inom produktledning gör att Domininkas representerar det bästa av två världar samtidigt som han förser användare med effektiva, säkra och användarvänliga produkter.
Domininkas Virbickas is a cybersecurity expert and the product director at NordVPN, where he oversees the development of security features that keep millions of users safer from phishing, scams, and harmful websites.
Domininkas began his career with a strong technical focus. With an academic background in telecommunication engineering and experience in engineering leadership and product development, he approaches security through practical problem-solving. He focuses on how attacks happen and how technology can be built to protect people without getting in their way.
Since stepping into senior product and engineering leadership roles, he has helped shape NordVPN’s Threat Protection product and contributed to the company’s broader security direction.
