Nord Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 24, 2026

Nord is committed to making its websites and applications accessible in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, the European Accessibility Act (EAA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

You should be able to:

  • Navigate using a keyboard or screen reader.

  • Understand content through clear labels, headings, and instructions.

  • Adjust zoom levels and contrast in your browser.

  • Receive announcements of changes, status updates, and navigation where supported.

We recognise that the current experience may not fully support users who rely on assistive technologies, and we are actively working to address this.

Compliance Status

Nord is continually updating its websites and apps to be compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. We are actively working to resolve any issues and improve accessibility.

Preparation of this Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement was prepared following an evaluation of the extension conducted by User Vision, a third-party accessibility consultancy. Websites and apps were tested throughout 2025, using a combination of automated tools, manual techniques, and testing with assistive technologies on desktop to ensure the application meets accessibility standards.

We are currently implementing changes based on this audit and will update this page with new information about the improvements we make.

Feedback and Contact Information

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and mobile applications. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers by emailing us at accessibility@nordvpn.com.

Disproportionate burden

We are not claiming that any of our accessibility issues are disproportionate to fix.

Enforcement procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010. If you’re not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for advice and guidance.

Similarly, for users in the European Union, accessibility rights are protected under the European Accessibility Act (EAA). If you believe there has been a breach of the EAA which we have not addressed, you may contact relevant national authorities in your country, as listed on the European Commission's Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.

For users in the United States, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ensures accessibility rights. If you believe that we have not addressed any violations to your rights under the ADA, you can file a complaint to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) on their official website.
