Logical topology refers to the abstract representation of how data flows and is transmitted within a network, independent of its physical layout. It is the structure that dictates how data packets travel between network nodes and is determined by the protocols and data handling techniques used, such as Token Ring, Ethernet, or wireless protocols. Unlike physical topology, which focuses on the physical connections between network devices, logical topology focuses on the path that data takes as it traverses the network.
