GIVEAWAY FOR NORDVPN USERS PURCHASING TWO-YEAR PLAN SUBSCRIPTION
These are the official rules of nordvpn S.A., PH F&F TOWER, 50th Street & 56th Street, Suite #32-D, Floor 32, Panama City, Republic of Panama (“Nord”), giveaway campaign for its users purchasing NordVPN two-year plan subscription (“Official Rules”). By participating in this giveaway (“Giveaway”), you agree to these Official Rules, which are a binding contract between you and Nord, so please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
This Giveaway is open only to NordVPN services users (“Participants”) that (a) are at least eighteen (18) years old, (b) are eligible to create a Nord account, and (c) purchased the two (2) year NordVPN service plan: Standard, Plus or Complete (as found here) (“Two-Year Plan”) during the Giveaway Period. No additional purchase, except the purchase of NordVPN service, is necessary, and no entry fees apply to be eligible for the Giveaway.
Employees of Nord, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and parent companies are not eligible to participate.
Each Participant is and shall be bound by the General Terms of Services and Privacy Policy for the duration of the use of the NordVPN services.
2. Giveaway Period.
The Giveaway starts on February 8 at 2 PM Central Time (“CT”) and ends on March 21 at 2 PM CT (“Giveaway Period”). The timekeeping device used by Nord is the official clock of the Giveaway.
3. Prize.
After completion of the purchase, each verified and confirmed Participant (as defined hereunder) will be awarded one (1) of the following NordVPN service plans as an extra subscription time: either a three-month (3-month) or one-year (1-year) plan (“Prize”). The Prize will match the NordVPN services included in the purchased Two-Year Plan (with all additional services: Incogni and/or Dedicated IP). The value of each Prize shall be equal to the value reflected on the NordVPN website.
Each Prize will be awarded “as is” and upon receiving it no additional terms or conditions other than these Official Rules, the General Terms of Services and Privacy Policy shall apply. The Participant may not transfer, substitute, assign, or redeem the Prize for cash. No refund shall be available for the Prize received. The Prize consists only of the Nord services specifically expressed in these Official Rules of Giveaway.
4. Odds and Selection Method.
Nord will automatically award the Prize to all new NordVPN users having purchased the Two-Year Plan during the period of the Giveaway Period. All Prizes for the Participants will be selected on a random basis by Nord’s preferred method. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
The Participants will be informed about the Prize they were awarded via email. The information about the Prize will also be displayed in the Participant’s Nord account.
Only one Prize shall be awarded to one Participant; upon receiving the Prize, the Participant is not eligible for any additional awards of the Giveaway. Anyone attempting to enter more than once, including through multiple accounts or email addresses, may be disqualified.
5. How to Enter.
During the Giveaway Period, all eligible Participants will be automatically included in the Giveaway and will receive the Prize considering that they are in compliance with these Official Rules (“Entry”). Each Participant will be responsible for paying all incurred expenses/taxes under the applicable laws.
Upon request, any Participant may withdraw the participation by sending an email to Nord at support@nordvpn.com.
6. Privacy.
All information submitted in connection with this Giveaway (i.e., email and information about your purchased subscription plan) will be used in order to manage your participation in the Giveaway and distribute the Prizes. In the spirit of transparency and privacy, Nord will comply with any written request from the Participants to delete their personal data related to the Giveaway (please contact us at privacy@nordaccount.com). However, please note that Nord will separately retain the information collected in connection to NordVPN services (their purchase and use) as set out in the Nord’s Privacy Policy.
7. Release and Limitation of Liability.
Notwithstanding the General Terms of Services, any parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and licensees, and the officers, directors, owners, shareholders, employees, representatives, and agents of each of the foregoing (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible, and will have no liability for (a) late, delayed, illegible, damaged, corrupted or incomplete Entries by the Participants, incorrect or inaccurate capture of loss of Entry information or any other human or technical errors of any kind relating to the operation of the Giveaway, the communications or attempted communications with any Participant, the submission, collection, storage, or processing, or the administration of the Giveaway, (b) any Force Majeure Event or any other event outside their control that may cause any alteration, postponement or cancellation of any part of the Giveaway; (c) any damage to any computer system or mobile device resulting from the Entry in or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Giveaway.
By accepting, each Participant fully releases, covenants not to sue, and agrees to hold each of the Released Parties harmless from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of the operation of the Giveaway, the Entry in the Giveaway, the acceptance, receipt or use (or misuse) of any Prize. The Participants assume all liability for any damage caused or claimed to be caused by the Entry in this Giveaway, or the acceptance, receipt or use of any Prize.
8. Additional Terms.
Nord reserves the right to modify or cancel the Giveaway at any time. Nord may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any individual found to be: (a) tampering with the Entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or any of the Nord’s websites; (b) acting in violation of these Official Rules; or (c) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. If the Entry is incomplete or if the Participant uses robotic, automatic, programmed or similar methods, the Participant will be disqualified. The authorized subscriber of the email account used to enter the Giveaway at the actual time of the Entry will be deemed to be the Participant and must comply with the rules set herein in the event of a dispute as to Entries submitted by multiple users having the same email account. The authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domains associated with the submitted email addresses.
If the Participant requests a refund within thirty (30) days of the purchase of the Two-Year Plan as per the General Terms of Service, all Prizes awarded to the Participant (including for other Nord products, if applicable) will be canceled as well.
9. Miscellaneous.
By entering this Giveaway, each Participant agrees that Nord’s decisions related to the Giveaway and all distribution of Prizes are final.
