Two parallel events

The OMR Festival has two events taking place side by side: the OMR Expo and the OMR Conference.

The Expo is a two-day trade show with hundreds of international exhibitors presenting the newest products and techniques in such fields as affiliate marketing, mobile advertising, human resources, and eCommerce. In addition to numerous presentations and masterclasses on marketing topics, the expo hosts a party with live music for all OMR attendees.attract thousands of participants, from professionals seeking to raise their qualifications to cutting-edge hackers interested in the latest security developments.

By contrast, the OMR Conference is a more traditional convention that explores cutting-edge digital marketing topics. It usually takes place on the second day of the OMR Festival, with leading experts in the field presenting to a select audience of marketing professionals. Past speakers include the founders of VaynerMedia, Pinterest, and Buzzfeed, and celebrities such as Lars Ulrich and Tony Hawk make personal appearances.

A brief history of OMR

The first OMR Festival was held on February 11, 2011 in Hamburg, attracting around 200 guests. Since then, OMR events have grown massively, with the 2023 OMR Festival attracting 70,000 participants over a two day period.

In addition to running the Festival, OMR also operates a number of subsidiaries providing digital marketing services to businesses, such as OMR Education (educational products) and ORM Jobs & HR (the largest job platform in Europe).
