The worth of Bitcoins is increasing dramatically

Bitcoin still holding on. Bitcoin has outlasted some bumps in that time, the most supreme was the shutdown of the Silk Road (the online black marketplace) and of course a decent number of hostile statements from the government spokesmen. The Bitcoin value is rising even despite these setbacks as investors have a feeling on flexible asset.

The FBI seized every single Bitcoin from Silk Road in October 2013. The amount was so significant (171,955 BTC) that there were rumours it may influence the value of Bitcoin. It is still unknown what FBI intends to do with those confiscated Bitcoins.

The US Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs will start hearings on Monday, November 18 with representatives from 5 wary fed agencies and bitcoin advocacy community representatives. Another bitcoin hearing will be held at Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs on November 19. Will bitcoin survive another wave of interference?
