Connect To VPN From Highly Restricted Countries
A new feature was introduced in NordVPN’s custom software. Some users from countries with high Internet censorship could not connect to VPN via custom software. And here comes the proxy. When a proxy is set on the software, it can bypass the ISP blockades and you will successfully connect to VPN.
As seen in a picture, you can select any proxy from the list and then try to connect to VPN. Please mind that is not necessary to set the same proxy location as the VPN server that you will try to connect to. When the proxy is selected the bar will show up and will check the availability of the proxy. The message “Success” means that you are good to go to connect to VPN and try to select another proxy if the “Fail” message appears.
When you close the application the proxy will be defaulted back to “none” proxy. The suggestions and feedback are always welcome.
